Cus­tomer Ser­vice Representative

As a Cus­tomer Ser­vice Rep­re­sen­ta­tive at Ibis Cycles, you will be respon­si­ble for pro­vid­ing excel­lent cus­tomer ser­vice to bicy­cle deal­ers and end users. You will answer incom­ing phone calls, emails, and chat mes­sages, either for­ward­ing these inquiries to the appro­pri­ate per­son or respond­ing your­self. You will also be respon­si­ble for tak­ing notes dur­ing the week­ly sales meet­ings.


Major Respon­si­bil­i­ties:

  • Main­tain a pos­i­tive, empa­thet­ic, and pro­fes­sion­al atti­tude at all times.

  • Answer incom­ing client inquiries via phone, email, online chat, social media, or in person.

  • For­ward inquiries to the appro­pri­ate recip­i­ent or pro­vide knowl­edge­able answers to ques­tions about prod­ucts, pric­ing and availability.

  • Pre­pare month­ly prod­uct or ser­vice reports for cus­tomer inter­ac­tions, trans­ac­tions, com­ments, and com­plaints in our tick­et­ing sys­tem, Freshdesk.

  • Take notes dur­ing the week­ly sales meet­ing with a high lev­el of detail and dis­sem­i­nate the notes to the rel­e­vant depart­ments and key stakeholders.

  • Respon­si­ble for order input, invoic­ing, and pro­cess­ing of Indus­try Employ­ee orders.

  • Assist Mar­ket­ing with social media ampli­fi­ca­tion and cus­tomer communication.

  • Work or help with spe­cial events, e.g. demo or deal­er appre­ci­a­tion events.

  • Oth­er duties as assigned.

Job Require­ments:

  • Pos­i­tive, friend­ly atti­tude and good teammate.

  • Excel­lent orga­ni­za­tion and fol­low through.

  • Excel­lent writ­ten and oral com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills in English.

  • High lev­el of flu­en­cy in bicy­cle ter­mi­nol­o­gy, tech­nol­o­gy and use.

  • In depth knowl­edge of bicy­cle repair and maintenance.

  • Microsoft Office and Google Docs proficiency.

Work­ing Conditions:

  • As indi­cat­ed by respon­si­bil­i­ties: able to mul­ti­task, pri­or­i­tize, and fol­low through.

  • Phys­i­cal Endurance: Able to use a com­put­er ter­mi­nal, and answer calls 8 hours per day. Abil­i­ty to lift 25 lbs unassisted.

  • Envi­ron­ment: Office and warehouse.

Pay:

  • The hourly range for this posi­tion is between $20 – 24. The pay range is com­men­su­rate with experience.
